Today, Saturday, March 15, severe problems have arisen in the Collective Transportation System (STC) Metro of Mexico City (CDMX). On the Green Line, crowds and delays in train circulation are reported. The A Line is also experiencing delays, causing significant user congestion from the early hours of the day due to the removal of a train for inspection.
On Line 12, despite the absence of breakdowns, there is a high influx of passengers due to poor progress of the units. Users are advised to take precautions and seek alternative transportation in light of this situation. On other lines, such as Line 1, wait times over six minutes are reported due to the slow progress of the trains.
On Line 2, there is a high influx of passengers, but the trains maintain a constant pace, with the Zócalo/Tenochtitlan station remaining open. On the other hand, alternative transportation is recommended on Line 3 due to severe delays on the green line with wait times exceeding eight minutes.
Regarding Line 4, the service is stable with low demand, but problems have arisen due to the removal of a train, leading to variations in wait times between six and ten minutes. Line 5 records high passenger demand at several stations, with a wait time of between five and six minutes, while Line 6 maintains stable service but with high user demand.
On Line 7, maximum passenger saturation is reported, so it is recommended to allow free closing of doors and let passengers descend before boarding. Users are urged to use the emergency levers only when necessary and responsibly.
